Worked in the round, from the top down, these socks combine knit-purl textures and lace in an appealing design that’s easy to memorize and quick to knit.

Size: Women’s medium (64 stitches). The stitch patterns on these socks are quite stretchy, giving them a comfortable, relaxed fit. If you have narrow feet or prefer a snug fit, use a smaller needle size and/or light fingering weight yarn.

Finished Measurements: About 7.5 inches/19 cm foot circumference will stretch to fit up to 9 inches/23 cm and about 8.5 inches/22 cm foot length

Materials:
--355 yds/325 m sock yarn. Sample shown was knit with Luna Grey Fiber Arts Altair 75% superwash merino wool, 15% nylon, 10% Tencel; 380yd/347m per 3.53oz/100g skein, colorway: Elderberry.

Notes:
--This top-down sock pattern is written for four double-pointed needles, but other methods, such as Magic Loop, may be used instead.

--For a smaller size, try using smaller needles and/or light fingering weight yarn. For a larger size, substitute sportweight yarn and larger needles.

--Stitch patterns are provided in both written, line-by-line form and in charts.
