This is another one of my patterns inspired by origami. The pocket boxes are based on envelope boxes and they fold flat when closed. Pull the top apart and they open up into a small container - just the right size for stitch markers or some jewellery.

Each box is about 2¾“² and they are knitted with small amounts of leftover, thin sock yarn in garter stitch. The base is stiffened with plastic canvas and the construction is ‘fixed’ with the help of some serious blocking.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff

Happy Knitting!
