The Poet tee is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The neck shaping is worked flat after which the rest of the tee is worked in the round. The lace pattern is knitted on both front and back of the sweater. The raglan sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round. The neckband is worked last by picking up stitches along the cast-on edge.

The Poet tee is knitted with DK weight yarn, but you can also substitute it for knitting with a strand of fingering weight merino held together with a strand of lace weight silk mohair.

This tee is the sister of my one of my most popular patterns, Poet, which was originally published in the Laine magazine issue 6.
