This 70’s inspired shawl is an eye-catching accessory for the holiday season. It is constructed from 21 poinsettia motifs using a combination of traditional and Tunisian crochet. The motif petals are worked primarily in Tunisian crochet and edged with traditional crochet. The center of the motif is worked in traditional crochet (petals are attached during this process). Motifs are join as you go. It is definitely a fun and challenging project!

You will need both US size H traditional and Tunisian crochet hooks to complete this pattern.

Gauge is worked in Tunisian Simple Stitch: 16 sts x 14 rows = 4”

Shawl is worked in Malabrigo Worsted. You will need the following amounts: 24 Vermillon – 10 hanks; 117 Verde Adriana – 3 hanks; and 22 Sauterne – 1 hank
