Points of Departure
If you are the sort of person who likes popping the bubbles in bubble wrap, you will love this. The undulating surface is good to look at but you can also pop all the little points to the back, then turn the whole thing over and pop them back again.
The design is based on a geometric square grid but it does not behave like a square grid because the shapes are not squares.
The pattern includes instructions for several variations and ideas for creating anti-geometric designs.
The afghan can be made in any yarn you choose but we recommend using a lightweight yarn as it needs more yarn than you would use if all the pieces were flat. Lighter colours work better than dark colours because they show the undulations more.
