From the book: This elegant lace stole is inspired by botanist Pamela Isley, the character also known as Poison Ivy. She is best known as a villain of the Batman comics and one of his more powerful foes. She was transformed into a plant-human hybrid by a science experiment gone wrong. Poison Ivy is one of the most prolific eco-terrorists. She is obsessed with plants and environmentalism. Poison Ivy uses her sex appeal, toxins from plants, and mind-controlling pheromones for her criminal activities, which are usually aimed at protecting the environment.
The deep green color, the vines and leaves in the pattern stitch make this stole a beautiful and fitting tribute to the plants that Poison Ivy loves so much.
