You gotta know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em…
Poker Stud came into being because of my fiance’s love of poker and my love of knitting. I knit on this scarf while playing poker since the chart is very easy to memorize and knitting can help you keep a better poker face! The scarf pictured was knit out of a sport-weight bulk alpaca sold at my LYS, but a great substitution would be Blue Sky Alpaca Silk which is what I have listed for this pattern.

I personally hate when scarves roll and really prefer a flatter scarf, so once the two sides of this scarf were sewn together, I did a quick stitch inside the tube to make sure that the scarf would maintain a general flat appearance. This scarf can be finished several ways. You could knit two identical patterned pieces, one patterned and one plain piece, or one patterned piece and then cut a piece of fleece fabric to match the size and sew it together. Make this scarf yours!
