This pattern was one of four projects that was part of the Spinnery’s 2018 Mystery Project Club.

We are proud to spin Catskill Saxon Merino yarn from the fiber of Eugene Wyatt’s flock. We thought that the best way to celebrate this uniquely smooshy yarn was to transform it into something you’d want to cuddle. So, Cap has created our Polar Teddy for you to knit up and enjoy! This handsome fellow can be stuffed full of GMS carded fleece for and is ready to be dressed up! Cap’s pattern includes instructions for a tiny crochet scarf, so that your teddy can be beautifully accessorized with just a few yards of stash yarn!

Yarn Requirements: 1 skein of Catskill Saxon Merino and 3 oz. of GMS Carded Fleece (or approx 120-140 yds of Worsted weight yarn – 1 skein Green Mountain Green)
Needles: US Size 7 / 4 mm, DPN”S or 36” or longer circular needle for magic loop.
Notions: Stitch marker, waste yarn, embroidery needle
