This skirt is actually two skirts, a lacy overskirt and a stockinette underskirt. They are worked separately until the last row before the waistband when they are joined. The overskirt is mid-thigh length. The same yarn and needle size is used for both. Note that the lace overskirt has fewer stitches per inch than the underskirt. Although the crop top is designed for the buttons in the back, it can be worn either way.
