Polkatwist is a classical and elegant sweater both for girls and boys, suitable for Christmas and all year round use.

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. The work is divided in two at the armholes, and the back and front pieces are knitted separately. Adjust your needle size by knitting a swatch before you start; otherwise, you might risk the garment having different measurements than those specified in the pattern. When knitting with two or more colors, it is important to keep the yarns evenly on the finger throughout the work. Make sure the yarns do not tighten and that the work remains elastic. For the glitter model, knit with red glitter thread together with the red yarn on the sleeves, in the ribbing at the bottom of the body, and in the ribbing at the neckline.
