Pollinate! is a mystery sock pattern designed for the May/June 2014 KAL in the Sock Knitters group. Clues were released on 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 May.

Pollinate! is knitted from the top down and features an eye of the partridge heel flap and heel turn, garter stitch gusset, and rounded toes. Lace bees and butterflies buzz around the leg, and a cabled iris decorates the foot. There is an optional “expansion” for the cabled section, for those whose cables pull the sock in too much.

The pattern is available in three sizes: 64, 72, or 80 stitches. You will want to aim for a bit of negative ease, as the lacework is quite stretchy.
