Fancy being as cosy as a real polar bear this winter? Well all you need is a polar bear scarf, or Polomint to be precise! He wears a stripey jumper, even though he doesn’t need one, he has an extra big nose for sniffing out penguins (you don’t get penguins in the Arctic Circle, but don’t tell Polomint) and he has a wee pom pom for a tail. All crocheted with the softest alpaca merino yarn. He’s around 9cm x 146cm (including his legs).

Only basic skills are required including forming magic rings, HDC, SC, increasing and decreasing (US Crochet Terms). The tutorial gives full instructions as well as images and details for all the materials I used are also noted on the pattern, but Ask a Question if you’d like to know more.

The PDF pattern is an instant download and once you get started I’m here to help if you need it.
