Pomegranate Wine socks are worked top-down in the round. There is a sweet lace and cable pattern that is worked on the sides of the leg, then moves to the top of the foot. A very classic, feminine sock.

Worked in fingering weight yarn (350-410 yds/320-375 m), the pattern is written for Women’s medium (64 sts) and large (72 sts). It can be easily resized by adding or subtracting sts, ensuring that the cable and lace pattern is centered on the leg.

Pomegranate Wine socks are best suited to a solid, semi-solid or speckled yarn. Not suitable for striping yarns.

Tools: Size US 1.5 (2.5 mm) needles - 32” (80cm) circular or dpn, one cable needle. A second circular needle is used for ease of working the gusset shaping; tapestry needle for working the Kitchener stitch; tape measure.
