Pont des Arts is a warm, cozy sweater with a comfy fit and an arty feel. It is named after a Parisian bridge whose railings were heavy with love locks until 2015, when they had to be removed as a safety measure.
There is just enough brioche happening at the beginning of this top-down sweater to get you started, and at the end to take you through the last rows.
It is the perfect challenge for brioche beginners, as it is very straightforward with no tricky brioche stitch involved, and a lot of soothing stocking stitch so you can catch your breath!
The top is worked in the round so you first become acquainted with brioche in its easiest form, and the bottom flaps are worked flat so you can go one step further in your command of basic brioche.
