Pattern is in diagram/schematic form. I used MS Excel (each cell is a stitch) and the font titled “Bookshelf Symbol 7” (because I don’t own patterning software). It’s my first ever attempt to write down what I did to make a project. Because I made/wrote it myself, I know what I meant! I used just some stash yarn - your basic average weight acrylic - so it would be washable and dryable and I wouldn’t have to be concerned with shrinkage or drying flat. I’m guessing it takes less than half an average sized skein (think Michaels or A.C.Moore, etc.), with just a few yards more if you decide to embellish the edges with some fancy stitching.
