This pattern from 1951 calls for 3 oz. of white 3-ply fingering wool for the body and a small amount of pink for the ear linings.

You will also need some scraps of black and white felt for the eyes, black wool for marking the features, felt or ribbon for the collar and bow, and kapok for stuffing.

Work with a double strand of wool throughout.
