The poppy seed cardigan is a simple and pretty cardigan worked in rows from the top down, with some increase rows to create a rounded neckline, and a simple bobble pattern down the front.

Easily adjusted for different lengths on the sleeves and body, and great for solids, stripes, or variegated yarns.

I’ve labelled this an intermediate pattern, due to needing to follow sections denoted by stitch markers rather than stitch counts, and continue in the pattern once the basics have been explained.

Stitches used are sc, hdc, dc, fphdc, bphdc, 2hdc (increase), 2hdctog (decrease), foundation hdc (fhdc), bobble (dc5tog)
