If you love the granny stripe pattern but were worried about the holes in the fabric - look no further.

The fabric created in the Popsicle Blanket with the so-called ‘droplet stitch’ is very dense and this way a non-see through granny stripe is created - hurrah!

Note: you might want to go up a hook size from your normal comfort size for this one, as it is easily too dense and carpetlike.

I called it popsicle because the one I made is very colourful but of course you can customise it to any colour palettes and sizes. It’s beginner friendly and I tried to show every step with lots of photos. Enjoy!

Wer das das Granny Streifenmuster liebt, aber bisher aufgrund der löchrigen Beschaffenheit ein bisschen vorsichtig war, dem kann jetzt geholfen werden.

Die Popsicle-Decke ist im so genannten Tröpfchenstich gearbeitet, d.h. das Gewebe, das entsteht, ist sehr dicht und fest - hurra!

Anmerkung: Man sollte vielleicht für diese Decke eine Nadelstärke höher wählen, als man es sonst gerne hat, weil es leicht zu fest und teppichartig wird.

Die Decke heißt Popsicle (Eis am Stil), weil ich meine sehr laut und bunt gemacht habe, aber natürlich sind alle Farbpaletten möglich. Alle Größen auch. Die Anleitung ist auf jeden Fall anfängertauglich. Ich habe versucht, jeden Schritt genau zu bebildern. Viel Spaß damit!
