“Charming little 3-ply jumper in a pretty leaf pattern” from Stitchcraft, April 1960.

Three sizes: to fit 33-34, 35-36 or 37-38 inch bust with minimal ease. Length: 20 (20 1/2 ) (21) inches. The actual gauge of the lace pattern is not given, only the equivalent in stocking-stitch (8 sts and 10 rows/inch).

Uses 6 (7) (7) ounces of Patons Beehive Fingering 3-ply.

The lace pattern is worked on both knit and purl rows using simple increases and decreases (yo, k3tog, p3tog). Worked from the bottom up, back and forth in rows. Stitches are cast on for the sleeves and shoulders shaped with stairstep cast-offs, then front are back are sewn together. The collar is worked in garter stitch.
