Port and Starboard is one of 16 glorious designs in Stranded Knits, a superb technique manual and pattern collection that Ann created for Rowan Yarns.

You may pre-order the ebook version of Stranded Knits by choosing the higher-priced option shown. This is available with a 20% pre-order discount until the full ebook is avalable, when the price will increase to £15.00. During the pre-order period you will receive each pattern from Stranded Knits as I release the PDF versions over a period of 10 weeks. Then you will receive the full ebook when I release the final PDF pattern. The full ebook will include the complete text, illustrated tutorials and patterns which comprise the print version of Stranded Knits.

The vest is knitted from the bottom up in rounds. The front neck opening is steeked. The pattern includes clearly illustrated tutorials for twisted German cast-on, slip-stitch crochet reinforcement, and picking up stitches next to a steek.

Please note that Felted Tweed DK is akin to a US sportweight/heavy fingering.
