Here, two sock-weight yarns with different skein repeats were held together to overcome any patterning tendencies. When the stitch counts change on this shaped sweater, only one of the two yarns nears its Magic Number while the other functions to block patterning. While a careful look might detect a bit of the pattern, the overall appearance is simply a color story. The ruffled details add a nice frame to the sleek, shaped style, formed through side shaping and vertical darts on both back and front.
