The color of the yarn inspired the making of this sock pattern. The deep blue color reminded me of the ocean and when I think of the ocean one of the things that come to mind is Poseidon -“God of the Sea”. I wanted a masculine sock, but I didn’t want to knit another plain ribbed sock. So I added some cables in between the ribbing to represent waves.
