Pattern is clearly written for a slightly asymmetric triangular shawl, knit with alternating sections of garter stitch and mesh lace.
Using simple increases and decreases, it morphs into a beautiful elongated triangular shaped shawl that provides many options for draping, wrapping, and tying - to complement any outfit.

The pattern is fully reversible, and both sides are attractive.

Recommended materials are 450 yds DK weight yarn, and size 8 (24-32” circular) needles.
Sample was knit with 2 skeins of Tosh DK yarn, by Madelinetosh (225 yds per skein), in color Cousteau.

Finished size (after blocking) is 88” across top edge, and 18” wide (from top edge to bottom point).

Required skills are casting on, knitting, increasing (knitting into the front and back of a stitch, and yarn over), decreasing (slip, slip, knit), and binding off.

Pattern is simple and repetitive, making for a relaxed and enjoyable project with impressive results.

Shawl can be knit in any weight of yarn, and general instructions are included for substituting different yarn, and adapting the size.

Enjoy knitting and wearing this beautiful shawl, and please post photos of your finished project for everyone to enjoy!
