This pattern is available from provenancecraft.com for £5.00.

This one-skein, crocheted hat pattern has a simple stitch and round repeat which makes it easy to memorize and creates a simple and elegant piece.

By using 4ply/fingering weight yarn, you create a Beanie style hat. Simply by switching to sportweight, you can create a Tam style hat instead.

It uses filet crochet to create lace holes that work up in a spiral around the hat, alongside Herringbone Trebles that create a flat, drapey fabric.

The pattern gives hook sizes, gauge information estimated circumference and depth of finished object over two yarn weights (4ply/fingering and sportweight).
