This is a digital pattern to make a crochet potholder. Instructions are given in text. After payment you can download the pattern.

It is worked holding 2 threads of cotton yarn together to make a thick potholder. You can vary with all kinds of color combinations, and you can vary the stitch (working through both loops of only the back loop) and the border (working SC and picots or crab stitch/reverse single crochet).

This is an advanced beginners pattern. Stitches used in this pattern are: chain, double crochet, and slip stitch (US crochet terms are used).
For the border of one of the potholders a crab stitch or reverse single crochet is used.
In this pattern there is no explanation on how to crochet these stitches!

Supplies:

  • Scraps of 100% cotton yarn, in the picture I used white, sage green, blue and pink
  • Crochet hook 5,5 mm
