This is a fun and quick shawlette made from one skein of Robin Turner’s Potpourri yarn. This yarn is available at Great Balls of Yarn stores in southern Florida. It consists of a variety of yarns, cut in different lengths and tied together. You can make your own “magic ball” skein from your stash but be pre-warned, it is a time consuming process. The shawlette can easily be made larger with the addition of more yarns. The pattern allows you as the knitter to decide when and where to work eyelets, dropped stitches, or other stitches of your choice. This freedom and the uniqueness of the yarn results in a one-of-a- kind shawlette. Increases are made at the beginning and end of every row which results in a shawlette that stays nicely on your shoulders and can be worn in a variety of ways. It will add that “WOW” to an outfit consisting of jeans and a T-shirt or that little black dress.
