This cowl incorporates the Little Arrowhead Lace pattern and is named for a beautiful park on the Fox River in St. Charles, Illinois, the lands of the Pottawatomie before they were forcibly removed in the 1830s.

The size is easily changed by choosing a different number to cast on, in a multiple of 6. For a different weight of yarn, use a needle size a bit larger than the needle recommended for your yarn.

Most knitters prefer using one needle size for the whole cowl. If your ribbing is quite loose, you could drop down one size on one or both borders.
