The Powderhorn Hat is a slightly-slouchy, hip design with a fun pattern! The hat can be made as slouchy as you like and features an asymmetrical brim. As shown, the hat has a circumference of 23 inches and a depth of 9 inches. It is designed to be worn tilted slightly back on your head for a cool, slouchy, beanie style.

Note that this hat will require blocking to obtain the correct shape at the brim/base (due to the nature of the lace pattern). Some fibers take better to blocking than others, in particular natural fibers. The sample was made with 100% wool and was tolerant to water. I soaked the hat and let it air dry for two days in the desired shape. It has held its shape wonderfully since blocking!
