Powerful Pleats

Knitting
February 2013
Lace / 2 ply ?
20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in over stockinette stitch with Navajo-plied yarn (triple strand)
US 7 - 4.5 mm
2575 - 4575 yards (2355 - 4183 m)
XS (S, M, L, 1X, 2X)

Add movement and sass to a skirt with pleats. We take a fine linen, Navajo ply it for the body of the skirt, then use it doubled for the generous knife-pleated hem. The plying allows you to knit the same yarn at two gauges, and blends the colors within the hand-dyed yarn.
