This design was inspired by my Prairie Socks pattern. I’ve wanted to create a hat based on these socks since I first published them, and I finally did it !

The hat features a pretty ribbed brim, a little different to a standard rib and then you work the Prairie Texture pattern through the body. I finished the hat with a fluffy mohair pom-pom.

The hat is knitted in a fingering weight yarn and comes in 2 sizes. The size small will fit a 19-21 inch head circumference and the medium/large will fit a 21-23 inch circumference. This can be easily adjusted further if necessary, by changing your needle sizes.

The hat is super fun and quick, perfect for gifts or just make a stack for yourself !
