Life has it’s up’s and down’s and is ever-changing. We all need a prayer or two sometimes. Sometimes just knowing someone cares is enough to give you strength to get through your troubles. This is a simple Prayer Pouch to be worn as a necklace. Write your prayer for your friends or for yourself on a piece of paper, fold it and put it in the pouch.

The Prayer Pouch is made with a small amount of DK # 3 weight yarn and measures 2.5 x 1.75 inches / 6.5 x 4.5 cm with a longer length chain so pouch sits near your heart. Make one for your loved ones and one for yourself. It uses very little yarn and is quickly made but the happiness of the one that receives such a gift will be huge.

This Crochet Pattern for a Prayer Pouch Necklace was created by me after finding I wanted to give my friend something special to give her hope in her time of trouble.. To give her comfort and for her to know she is not alone. I hope it will do the same for you.
