For “Cable-Lovers” everywhere, this is a great fingerless mitt pattern for you. There are two distinct cables in the mitt. Both of these cables are unique in that they are Alpine Cables. The center cable is a fairly “delicate” cables in which all the knit stitches in the cables are knit through the back loop. The side cables are very typical of Alpine cables. If you love knitting cables, these long fingerless mitts will be fun for you to both make and wear and will allow you to text, type and knit in style and warmth.

These mitts are knit using two circular needles, and the stitches are both charted and written out line by line. They are designed so that you begin at the elbow and end at the fingertips.

These mitts are designed so that they have a great deal of lateral stretch and therefore fit most people size S - XL. In addition, they have a thumb gusset that allows you maximum movement.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, purling, cabling, and increasing and decreasing).
