This lip balm cozy is written in three parts:
The head and ears
The body/dress.
And the bow.

Very little sewing required, only to attach the bow to the head. The rest is crocheted together.

Using size 3 crochet thread (similar to lion brand BonBon) gives this little piece a sleek, simple, classy appearance.

A very small amount of embroidery thread is used to make French knots for the eyes and nose.

Optional is 1/8 inch ribbon and 2mm rhinestones for a shiny, elegant collar, and a small amount of chain (or linked jump rings) with a lanyard hook to clip to your bag or purse.
