The Polka Dots cardigan was originally designed by Bohus Stickning / Kerstin Olsson in 1966. Polka Dots was recreated by Pernille Silfverberg in 2021.

There are two variants: Black or Gray. The knitting kit for Prickar is based on original patterns and models lent to Pernille Silfverberg by Kerstin Olsson.

A related design by Kerstin Olsson is Ränder och Prickar , which is available in grey and rust red/black color schemes.

The garment is knitted in a two-strand lambswool yarn from Henrichsen Uldspinderi in Denmark. The lambswool yarn consists of merino wool from New Zealand and a small potion from Gotland fur sheep, guaranteed mulesing-free.
