There are times in our lives when we need to show our different stripes and this shawl will let you fly your striped pride on high.

Choose your own colours and play with your yarns to make a stripped shawl that really shows off who you are!

This pattern is written for 4ply/Fingering weight but could be easily adapted to any yarn weight you choose.

Requirements:

  • 120-150g of 4ply - solid or semi solid colours work best as a strong contrast for the coloured stripes.

  • At least 5/6g of each colour you want to make a stripes with. You can use more but this will give you less stripes over all. Mini skeins are great for this or your leftovers from sock knitting. Let your imagination go wild with the colours

3mm Circular/cable needle with 80-100cm cable – You might find will need a slightly longer cable towards the end of the shawl.
2 stitch markers
Needle and scissors for weaving in ends.

You will need to know how to knit, purl, make 1 right, make 1 left, cast on and bind off (with an icord bind off or your preferred loose/stretchy bind off)

Note: This pattern is for the Delta shaped version of the shawl. The Triangle shaped version is published separately.

This pattern is available in English and French. Massive love goes to KarenRavi for translating this pattern.
