The Princess Shawl is a child sized shawl, but can also be worn as a shawlette for adults. My 4-year-old daughter loves princesses and fairies. She loves playing dress up and is always asking me to try on my shawls. I knew that she would love one of her own. The special touch to this shawl is the crown picot edging knit with a yarn that has a bit of sparkle. My daughter picked out this edging from my stitch pattern book because she thought it looked like a princess crown.

The neck edge of the shawl is designed to have a bit of a curve to help keep the shawl on little shoulders. I think it also looks lovely to tie the shawl around the neck and have the shawl facing the front. No matter which way it will be worn, the shawl will be the perfect winter accessory for any little girl or even for you.
