Regal and elegant as the night sky, this shawlette derives its inspiration from Princess Luna of recent My Little Pony fame. Princess of the Night is shallow enough to be a lightweight scarf for cooler spring weather, yet solid and long enough to be tucked around the neck for extra warmth. The lace border traces starry diamonds, and a chart is included if you should wish to add beads. The scarf is just simple enough to encourage the new lace knitter without boring the veteran, leaving room in the finished product for the yarn to shine without distraction. The subtle hints of sparkle in the yarn, beads, or the lace itself evoke the majesty of the night sky in a completed project fit for a Princess.

If you wish to add beads, you will need 165 6/0 seed beeds and 1.3mm steel crochet hook.
