This quick knitting hat is fun to knit and has enough interest to keep you going. You could have this hat completed in a day, which makes it great for gift knitting. It is a slouchy hat but you could decrease the length to make it more fitted or you could increase the length and make it even more slouchy. This hat would look great with a pompom and you will love how the squishy texture knits up.
There is also a video link to show you the special stitch.

Things you will need:
5.5mm (9US) circular needles (or size required to obtain gauge)
6.5mm (10.5US) circular needles (for ribbing)
Scissors
Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
Four stitch markers
Yarn
One 115 g/ 140 yard skein Bulky weight yarn. I chose Gingersnap yarn in Ice Blue.
