This pattern is written for aran and bulky weight yarns… for 3 OR 4 stitches per inch.

Very simple pattern, perfect for beginners who can knit in the round!

The pattern sizing is toddler (1-5ish years), and adult (5-105ish). For smaller heads, simply turn up the brim. Trust me, the kiddo’s head is growing. wink Because of the squishy, almost tube like fabric created, this hat really does fit a large variety of head sizes.

It is meant to have full coverage, as seen in the photos. Ideally, it will warm the ‘lobes, too.
