Promenade en forêt means “walk in the forest” in french and if you are very lucky and quiet while you walk, you might just see a little bunny tail through the trees.

This shawl is knit from the bottom up with short rows to form a crescent. Although the cables looks complexed, an adventurous beginner won’t have any difficulty completing it. The pattern has both charts and written instructions.

Skills needed:
Cables
Bobbles
Short rows

Although designed for 6 repeats of the cable pattern in worsted weight yarn, the shawl can be knit with as many or as few repeats as you want. It can be knit with any thickness of yarn but be aware that the resulting shawl will be smaller or larger.
The sample is 78” long
