Prosecco is the Italian version of champagne, a festive, bubbly drink that I don’t just save for special occasions.

This hat uses two colorways of a gorgeous hand-dyed yarn to mimic that same playful, subtle effervescence. If you would like the bubble design to stand out more prominently, work the hat entirely in solid or semi-solid colors. When choosing colorways for this project, make sure to select two colors with significant light-dark contrast to each other. Otherwise, the design will not be visible.

The wide size range means you can knit this hat for anyone from small children to adults. Instructions are given both for the slouchy version pictured here, as well as a more traditional beanie shape.

The hat requires two colors of Arroyo, but there is enough yardage in these skeins to knit two hats in the two smaller sizes.
