Shake your tail feathers and show off your style with these colorful accessories!
Add over a long-sleeved shirt or over a 3⁄4-length shirt to give the illusion of long sleeves. Expand your wardrobe by making a few different sets, with or without the detachable ruffle.

The Armlets are worked in the round from elbow to wrist with an optional attached or detachable ruffle. When the ruffle is detached, colorful buttons perform double duty as jewelry!

Design Inspiration
The design for these armlets comes from the vivid, dramatic colors in a peacock’s tail feather fan. They are a great way to use up your stash yarn. Wild peafowl often gather in groups called parties. Party on, peacocks!

Design for Everyone
Adventures in Knitting patterns give you a map so you can learn a new technique while making your project! If you’re a newer knitter, you won’t be left not knowing where to turn: this pattern features fully-explained instructions for all the major techniques beyond knit and purl, so even if you’ve never tried a particular technique before, I’ve got you covered! The pattern features instructions and tutorials for:

  • Binding off in pattern
  • Making ruffles for other projects

The different options for the armlets make this a design you’ll want to knit again and again - and it’s great for using up stash yarn!

Knitting one of these patterns is like taking a knitting workshop from the comfort of your own home!

A Note on Printing
The pattern is in landscape format, with both pages facing up so it can be read on a device. Print out the pattern double-sided and fold into thirds for optimal use, reversing the direction of the second page to have it face the correct way.
