One of my favorite ways to create happiness is knitting! Another is to turn on some music, pump up the volume, and dance away any worries and sadness, if only for a short while.

This pattern is toe-up and written for nearly symmetrical left and right socks, with a centered motif. This pattern looks fabulous in tonal, variegated, and self-striping yarn. The pattern also includes the Spacious One-needle Mock Gusset heel, which closely mimics the traditional heel-flap and gusset heel, but is actually a short-row heel worked from the toe-up.

So create some happiness for yourself: knit these socks, pump up the volume, and dance around wearing them!
