Celebrate fall with this slip-stitch hat pattern, originally written for the Shuttles Spindles and Skeins Community Knitting Group. You can knit it for a favorite child, or use this pattern in your own community knitting group. As with many of our community knitting projects, there is no gauge specified. This will be a child hat as written.

This pattern uses
worsted weight yarn: 100 yards of main color (MC), and 25 yards each of pumpkin and green colors (CC). (Or go with the orginal pattern specification of 1.5 oz of MC and .5 oz of CCs). You will need 16” circular needles in size 7 or 8, and double points of the same size. You will also need stitch markers.
