Pumpkin Jacqu is a cute, fun outfit to knit for babies first Halloween and would look super on those first photos for babies born in the Autumn/Fall season.

Knitted flat on straight needles from the bottom up you will receive instructions to knit the pumpkin romper, hat, booties and pumpkin leaves in sizes Newborn or 3+ months.

The different sizes are achieved by changing needle sizes.

Stylecraft Special DK yarn (light worsted) has been used throughout the design but any similar DK weight yarn knitting to the same tension could be used as a substitute.

Pumpkin romper is short sleeved with a round neck and is button fastening to the back of the yoke. The leg length can be adjusted if you would prefer a full length romper. Pumpkin hat features a stalk to the crown which is topped with a pumpkin leaf. Booties are knitted in squishy garter stitch to accommodate growing toes.

Pattern instructions are clearly written and are easy to follow.

Materials Required:
Stylecraft Yarns used and the shade numbers are listed on the pattern. 4 buttons are needed for the back of the romper & an optional two pumpkin buttons.

Knitting needles required:
3mm and 3.75mm for the newborn size.
3.25mm and 4mm for the larger size.

Not just for Halloween, knit the complete outfit in a solid colour and change the trimmings and you have a lovely romper outfit that can be worn all year round.
