Seasonally appropriate socks!

Knitted in WYS Signature 4 ply in this delicious shade of pumpkin orange, these easy lace socks bring a welcome burst of seasonal colour. If you are new to lace knitted socks, this pattern is ideal: the pattern has been designed to divide neatly between 3 dpns or split over 2 ends of a circular. Every other row is knit and the pattern is nice and short too!

I’ve included a twisted knit rib for extra snugness around the ankle: it also rather pleasingly links up to the first pattern set.

I tend to knit my socks on a 2.5 mm needle: my tension falls into the Goldilocks area (not too tight, not too loose). For slightly stretchier socks try a 2.75mm.

Btw: I tested them in a bright scarlet red - and they looked very Christmassy…..just saying….
