The Pure Comfort Shawl is a half circle shawl inspired by comments my friends, Donna Arnold and Donna McGranahan made. One friend is grooving on Garter Stitch this summer and the other liked the pattern the increases made in a sweater I designed. The pattern repeat is eighteen rows (only two of which involve any purl stitch).

There are alternating garter ridges and areas of Stockinette stitch. Both sides are lovely, so the piece can be considered reversible.

The shawl feels and looks solid, but the lightness of the yarn makes it a delight to wear any time of year. Beautiful drape means this shawl can be styled many ways to suit a variety of outfits and looks.

ERRATA:
Row 8= same as Row 6
Row 28 & 29 & 30 do not exist -- I edited them out.
