MATERIALS

• 3 (4, 5, 5, 6, 7) skeins of Purl Soho’s Plenty, 100% extra fine merino wool. Each skein is 139 yards/ 100 grams; approximately 415 (480, 585, 670, 755, 845) total yards required. We used the color Forget-Me-Not Blue.

OR

• 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins of Purl Soho’s Worsted Twist, 100% merino wool. Each skein is 164 yards/ 100 grams; approximately 395 (450, 550, 625, 705, 790) total yards required. We used the color Heirloom White. (NOTE: We no longer offer Worsted Twist, but choose from one of our other worsted/aran weight yarns.)

You’ll also need…

• US 8 (5 mm), 20-, 24-, or 32-inch circular needles for Body (depending on size you are making)
• US 8, 16-inch circular needles for Collar
• A set of US 8 double pointed needles or 12-inch circular needles for Sleeves (depending on size you are making)
• US 7 (4.5 mm), 16-inch circular needles for Collar
• 4 removable stitch markers, including one unique
• Stitch holders or scrap yarn

NOTE: The pink version shown is knit in Alpaca Pure, which is no longer available.

GAUGE
17 stitches and 26 rounds = 4 inches in stockinette stitch, using larger needles

SIZES
20¼ (22, 24, 26¼, 28¼, 30)

To fit children 12 months (2 years, 4 years, 6 years, 8 years, 10 years) with approximately 1–2 inches of ease

• Finished Chest Circumference: 20¼ (22, 24, 26¼, 28¼, 30) inches
• Length from Shoulder to Bottom Edge: 15¾ (17¼, 19, 19¾, 21¼, 22¼) inches
• Length from Underarm to Bottom Edge: 9¾ (10¾, 12, 12¾, 14¼, 14¾) inches

SAMPLE: The sweater shown here is size 26¼, worn with 2¾ inches of ease.
