Although purple is my favorite color, I am definitely lacking in the “purple department” in my wardrobe. So, I finally decided it was time to knit up something in my favorite color. I chose this lovely purple palette and thus, Purple Trio was the result. Pick your favorite “trio” of colors, either in the same color palette or a variety of palettes, and create your own “Trio”!

The shawl is an asymmetric triangle consisting of a combination of slipped stitches, garter stitch and a simple lace mesh. Only one color is worked per row. There are two “self-finishing” borders that are worked as part of the shawl.
