Description:
Fingerless Mitts are knit in the round. The Mitt begins with a corrugated rib at the wrist and leads to simple stripe pattern. Colorwork consists of alternating two colors while working in stockinette. The thumb gusset leads to an abbreviated After-Thought Thumb.
Pattern is a “one size will fit most adults”

Skill Level:
Appropriate for beginners who can knit and purl easily.

Gauge: 19 sts measured over 4 inches (4.75 stitches/inch)
24 rows measured over 4 inches (6 rows/inch)
Needle: US 6 (4mm) or needle size you need to obtain gauge, every knitters gauge is unique. If you are not going to swatch and you tend to be a tight knitter, go up a needle size.
Pattern can be knit on dpns, using magic loop or on two circulars.
Notions: stitch markers, waste yarn in contrasting color, scissors, tapestry needle
